GLASS JAW
Little Thief Theatre presents the Vancouver premiere of GLASS JAW, an original Canadian work inspired by true events. The play puts audience members face to face with one woman as she deals with a life-changing diagnosis. A boxer, a mother, a lover and a fighter - this is her story.
Cast:
MIRANDA MACDOUGALL Originally from Windsor, ON, Miranda has been on stage since the age of three. She holds a BFA - Theatre Acting from the University of Windsor where she graduated in 2014. Since then, she has been acting professionally in Toronto and Vancouver, and has worked alongside world-renowned theatre artists across Canada and the US. She hopes to remain a human sponge for as long as possible (ie,forever) and considers herself a lifelong learner committed to empowering the female voice, the indigenous voice, and spreading love for our natural world.
CALLUM GUNN Callum grew up on Salt Spring Island, BC and came to define himself through sports, playing competitive soccer around BC. Afterwards, he modelled internationally for three years, living between Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Germany, Toronto, Montreal and New York. He returned to school in 2012, and received a BFA Theatre Acting program at the University of Windsor. Outside the theatre, Callum is a professional photographer/videographer concerned with social and environmental stewardship. He is also passionate about avocados and Kurt Vonnegut.
