2nd Annual We Love PWNW Valentine Fundraiser
A series of three dinner + performance events in the homes of PWNW friends & enthusiasts. Fittingly enough, guests will support PWNW's "Tuning Project with Lisa Nelson" (see below) by experiencing an up-close taste of "The Tuning Score", an approach to spontaneous ensemble composition and performance in which each player uses actions and simple verbal calls to continually tune, or adjust, the image, the time, and the space.
A light meal and wine are included in the price of your $20 ticket!
Performing will be some combination of the following dancers:
Linda Austin, Mary Ganzon, Nora Hajos, Bryce Kasson & Karen Nelson.
SCHEDULE:
Feb. 14 Thursday || 7pm || the home of Anna & Leo Daedalus
Feb. 15 Friday || 7pm || the home of Steve Cox
Feb. 16 Saturday || 7pm || the home of Lois Leveen & Chuck Barnes
Funds raised at our Valentine Fundraiser events will go towards the Tuning Project wIth Lisa Nelson--10 days of dance research, performance and workshops, all centered around a visit to Performance Works by award-winning performer, videographer, and collaborative artist Lisa Nelson, developer of the Tuning Scores.
