Description
The Dai Family Collection of 19th and 20th century masterpieces is unparalleled in distinction and value. This exhibit engages a variety of artistic styles from over 50 of China's most beloved and renowned contemporary artists from the Qing Dynasty to the 1900s.  To our best knowledge, there is not a single public exhibit, besides the national museums of China and Taiwan, that is comparable with the Dai family collection in terms of the number of China's greatest masters of art and their works. This is the first time such a venerated collection, with pieces that could once only be seen in publications, will be brought to the greater Seattle Area. Of the paintings shown at the exhibit will be work from all of the top ten artists whose pieces have the highest market value. Many of the paintings in the collection are judged individually to be worth from hundreds of thousands to millions of US dollars.
