Family Day at PdA
Don't be intimidated by art! Get engaged in it!
When you hear the names Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael do you automatically think, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Does the thought of touring an art gallery leave you cold?
Do you think to create art you have to be an artiste?
Gather up the family and drop by Family Day at PdA! We'll blow the dust off those notions in our fun and relaxed environment. Tour the galleries with the artists themselves then drop in on a variety of all-ages workshops and create your very own masterpieces! The Van Gogh Cafe will be open, serving light snacks and beverages.
Admission is by donation, but space is limited so please reserve your spot in advance.
Workshops:
- Functional wheel-thrown pottery with Vin Arora
- Mixed media techniques with Shari Pratt
- Hand-hooked rugs with Gone Hooking (May exhibiting artist)
- Social Fabric Project: Bring your special "thread" to weave into our 40th Anniversary tapestry
