Harvest Supper with Grace Hearth
nourish [/nəriSH/] v.p: to supply what is necessary for life, health and growth

**What nourishes you in life?**

Join us on the evening of August 23rd for an inspired and interactive expression of seasonal abundance! The growers, harvesters and makers of our four-course feast will share the stories of their relationship to nourishing community, and you will be given the opportunity to create an amuse bouche (a bite-sized hors d'oeuvre) from ingredients that will be delivered straight from the fertile soils of local farms and gardens.  Poetry and music will transition us between four gastronomically titillating courses.

Grace Hearth (Jocelyn Jackson and Keri Keifer) will be nourishing and coordinating the event.

**MENU**

mingler: date, olive and nut zucchini rolls with brie en papillote

amuse bouche: supper guests will construct their own 'little bite to please the mouth' using a mandala of distinctive prepared ingredients including: honey rosemary roasted tomatoes, petite buckwheat pancakes, caramelized fennel, homemade pepper and nasturtium goat cheese, toasted cajun citrus almonds and mixed micro-greens.

main course and salad: garlic-stewed collard greens topped with pulled chicken or braised tempeh, grilled sweet potato, blackberry BBQ sauce, roasted corn kernels and frizzled shallots, served with an herbed buttermilk skillet biscuit. accompanied by a salad of butter lettuce, shaved rainbow carrots and a parmesan tomato chive vinaigrette

Confirmed Storytellers:
Ahmed Rahim of Numi Tea
Rokas Armonas of Bay Area Bee Company
Thea Rittenhouse of Gauchito Hill Farms
Kathren Murrell Stevenson of Yoga Arts and Ecology
Doug Streblow of Buckeye Knoll

Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy, if desired.

Grace Hearth appreciates creating an environment of generosity and abundance. We value the effort and creativity of this event at $40.  However, we have a limited number of tickets available at $20 and $30 in order to increase access to our table. We hope that only those who are truly unable to offer the full $40 will choose these tickets; we trust you to make that decision!
