Dinner and a Show: The Actor's Nightmare
Ever had one of those dreams where you're in a band, but suddenly realize you don't know how to play the guitar? Or you're about to go onstage in a play but you've missed the rehearsals and never learned your lines? That's the hilarious predicament of George in THE ACTOR'S NIGHTMARE. A timid accountant, he finds himself thrown into a crazy production that mixes Shakespeare, British comedy, and the theater of the absurd. Paired with some of the late great icons of the world stage, George somehow rises to the occasion.
This one-act comedy by Tony and Obie-winning playwright Christopher Durang is paired with a delicious 2-course meal included in the ticket price.
