The Gap Year---Taking the time to maximize your future
Our invited guest speaker is Ethan Knight, who is the founder of "The American Gap Association," which is the Official Standards Development Organization for Gap Years.
"This presentation will be a guide to building your own Gap Year; featuring the 30,000 foot perspective and further digesting the time into pre-departure, on-experience, and re-integration. We will touch on the role parents should have, some planning and funding techniques, and how to present this experience to colleges. As part of our discussion, we will have a panel of Gap Year alumni to share first-person stories that will inevitably be both humorous and purposeful. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of how to maximize the benefits of a Gap Year through good planning, creative funding strategies to make sure cost isn't a prohibitive factor, and how to integrate it with the college experience."

Hi. When the announcement for this talk first came out I signed up for three people to attended. I don't recall if I printed the tickets and was wondering if I could still do so.

Hi, It is not a problem if you cannot find the printed tickets, still come. The registration just helps us in anticipating how many seats are available. We will still be able to accept walk ins, which we already anticipated since it was advertised also in city paper. |
