Event
UW STROLL COMPETITION VI
UW STROLL COMPETITION is an event hosted each year by Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. Phi Beta chapter and Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. Upsilon Gamma chapter at the UW. Two scholarships are funded with the revenue from the event, one for a male full time student and a female at the University of Washington. This event consists of local teams and regional teams that come from other states including ID, OR, CO, AZ, and CA. Many people travel to this event to watch their teams compete or simply support their participating organization. It is very similar to the movie "Stomp the Yard" but instead of stepping, it consists of "strolling" (lined dancing with 4-6 team members doing the same thing in unison while advancing forward). This event attracts between 800 to 1,000 people from all over the west coast and we hope to add you as part of the crowd this year! SEE YOU THERE!
