Debut Concert

Please join us for one of the debut performances of The Redwood Chamber Choir. Our program will feature music from three living composers, Veljo Tormis, Urmas Siask, and Arvo Pärt. Amongst other artists in Estonian culture, these three are considered to be modern day shamans. The music we have chosen not only showcases their unique compositional techniques. but has been selected to exhibit their individual spiritual identities. Embedded in much of this music is also commentary on historical and political events including the passionate "Singing Revolution" which led to Estonian sovereignty. Come and experience an array of beautv. magic. power and awe through refined choral sound!
