Be a Dear and Donate a Brassiere presents a benefit to help Housing 1000 End homelessness in Silicon Valley!
FEATURING:
ComedySportz - the leader in improv comedy, provides improvisational theatre to audiences throughout the Bay Area. Its award-winning interactive comedy show features two teams of "act-letes" who compete for audience laughs and points while improvising scenes, games, operas and musicals based on the audiences' suggestions.
Tina Allen Gallo - Tina's comedy covers a wide array - from dating, family, kids, skiing, being a teacher, growing up Catholic in today's world, and getting older. She has been entertaining audiences throughout the bay area with her quick wit and cynicism.
DNA - DNA co-hosts a weekly comedy show, manages a wildly successful, comedy show called Planet Cruz, hosts his own comedy show called Comikaze and performs around the Bay Area sometimes solo and sometimes with his rotating band of talent the Pawns of Comedy.
Michael Slack - Michael is regarded by his peers as one of the sharpest writers and quickest wits in the business. Thoughtful, adept, engaging his intelligent observations and natural rapport make him a constant crowd favorite
Phil Johnson - Being human is a constant struggle between defining ourselves as individuals and trying to fit in with "the group"Phil Johnson, who has appeared at the Sundance Film Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, uses comedy and music to dissect that dilemma in both his own life and others.
Angel "The African Queen" Thacker - her presentation in dance smolders with passion. Angel will take you on a journey through the eyes of passionate expression! Housing 1000 is ending homelessness for Silicon Valley's most vulnerable residents. ALL proceeds from Comedy UNHOOKED will be used to contribute to the success of these individuals by providing funding for basic household furnishings, turning these new houses into homes.
