Hero Comedy Show - Longmont, Colorado

ReGroup Foundation presents Comedians Vinnie Montez, John Crist, Donelle Prado & Troy Walker for a Special Standup Comedy Event at the Best Western - Plaza Convention Center, Longmont, Colorado on November 4, 2016 Doors Open @ 6pm. Show Starts @ 7PM.

Vinnie Montez is a compact ball of kinetic energy waiting to explode. A Colorado native with a strong Mexican heritage, his mom and dad were the biggest influences in his life; they weren't afraid to be themselves or stray from the traditional Mexican culture, instilling core values while letting him find his own way. As his physical dimensions will attest, good food is always a priority especially good Mexican food; the hotter the better. Nevertheless, he has been known to enjoy the occasional burrito or two (or five or six) from the neighborhood Taco Bell.

Always the center of attention at any social gathering, he got into comedy in 2007 with a trial performance at Comedy Works in Denver. A bit of an adrenaline junkie, it gave him a taste of the spotlight, and like a good taco, he found he wanted more: since then he performs regularly at Denver's Comedy Works and has appeared at venues across the nation, including the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. Vinnie has shared the stage with the likes of Paul Rodriguez, Louie Anderson, Chris D'Elia, Joe Rogan, Lisa Landry, Gina Brillon, John Crist, Josh Blue, Bret Ernst, Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald, Joey "Coco" Diaz, Phil Palisoul and many more.

John Crist - Fresh off his debut television appearance on Live at Gotham and the release of his debut comedy special I Got Questions, award-winning stand-up comedian John Crist continues to gain momentum as one of Americas young rising stars of comedy. Crists style of edgy but clean comedy keeps him on the road for a whirlwind schedule of over 250 live shows per year. A regional finalist in Comedy Centrals Up Next Competition and over 10 million Buzzfeed views, Crist just returned from a USO Comedy Tour for the Troops in Kuwaitall while headlining top comedy clubs across the country and sharing the stage with the likes of Dave Chappelle, Seth Meyers, Tim Hawkins,Chris DElia, and Angela Johnson.

Donelle Prado is one of the most sought after comedians on the comedy scene today. With her unique blend of thought-provoking and off-the-wall commentary, she uses the influences of her Japanese-American mother and her Mexican-American father to see the hilarity in any scenario Life throws at her.

Donelle can be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Works and Denver Improv where she has opened for Paul Mooney, Willie Barcena, Bruce Bruce, and more. She was featured on the Hot Tamales Live comedy DVD with Eva Longoria, appeared on nationally syndicated television network SiTV," Inside Joke and Latino Laugh Festival: The Show and also a finalist on Nick-at-Nites Funniest Mom in America.

Troy Walker has quickly become one of Denver's most sought-after comedians! A regular at Comedy Works, Walker has won the Comedy Works "New Faces" contest twice. After making his network TV debut on The Late Late Show, Troy has steadily racked up credits including VICEs Flophouse and playing the role of Don Lemon on Fusion TVs Trump vs. Bernie. He can be seen later this year on Fuses Uproarious.

Walker has had the pleasure of opening for some of the most prominent comedians in the country. In addition to headlining clubs and colleges across the nation, Troy serves as a fine ambassador of Denver comedy at national and local comedy festivals including The Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, The Great American Comedy Festival, and Portland's Bridgetown Comedy Festival. He was also selected as one the Just for Laughs Montreals prestigious New Faces.

After witnessing Troys storytelling abilities and commanding presence on-stage it should come as no surprise that he's also a licensed attorney who graduated from University of Denver's Sturm College of Law.
