Mimi Gonzalez was destined to be a comedian. Growing up as the only female of seven children from a Cuban father who married ten times will do that. And thats not even the funny part. He was a psychiatrist.
Her Italian mother navigated life as a single parent in one of Detroits suburbs and, wanting conscientious children, she sacrificed them to the nuns of a Catholic school education. No doubt, the repeated applause on her backside helped Mimi achieve her status as class clown.
Hailing from the Motor City and feeling pre-disposed to all things automotive, Mimis full-time road career began in 1998 and she is going strong. You can find her today working comedy clubs, colleges, cruises and doing special events for corporate and non-profit clients. Mimi answers the call of the U.S. armed forces by making our troops laugh in Afghanistan, Baghdad, Bosnia, Kosovo, Korea, Japan and Guam.
