Yoga, Writers & Revitalization in a Unique Detroit Destination
Join us at one of Detroit's soon to-be-revitalized gems. The shuttered Herman Kiefer Health complex, empty since 2013, is an amazing series of buildings that is in the process of being transformed it into a hub of activity. We will be hosting a yoga session with Citizen Yoga in the sites Power House building, designed in 1921 by Albert Kahn. The event benefits Write A House, a Detroit-based nonprofit that awards renovated homes in the city to talented emerging writers looking to become a permanent part of the growing artist community.
