The Artist Statement is a powerful tool, along with titles it's one of the only ways artists have to give context to their artwork and guide the viewer on how to see your pieces. You work hard to make your art, make sure your Artist Statement is helping you convey that process and supports your vision.
Participants should bring what they currently have for statements & bios and be prepared to actively work on their statements during the workshop.
