Summer of Soul #2

Soul Invictus is continuing it's summer showcase featuring unpublished works and local artists. July showcases the one-act, "Wellington Cafe" all 3 weekends. Each weekend, the second half of the show will feature a different artist. The First Weekend, Maxx Carlisle-King will perform his original script, "The Emerald Lounge's Rihannon, the second weekend will feature local composer/musician, Michael Bradley in "So, Here's What Happened..." and on the final weekend, folk/pop duo, Bogan Via will perform their music.

"WELLINGTON CAFE" - performs July 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28 at 8pm

Wellington Cafe is a one-act play, written by Ray Charles, about five people in a cafe who discuss life, love and the pursuit of strawberry-banana smoothies!

Directed by Bronwyn Schile, Starring Emilie Cipriano, Dayna Dayson, Joseph Gaxiola, Carlos Lara & Wes Hart

"THE EMERALD LOUNGE'S RIHANNON" - Performs July 13 & 14

The Emerald Lounge's Rihannon, is a one act performance piece created by Maxx Carlisle-King. Love, tragedy and live singing mixed together for a captivating tale of a mythical bar's beloved drag performer.

"SO HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED..." - July 20 & 21

Michael Bradley is an award winning composer, song writer and performer. He will present original music and share a story or two.

"A NIGHT WITH BOGAN VIA" - July 27 & 28

Bogan Via is a local band known for their unique blend of indie/folk/pop music. All songs written and performed by Bret Bender and Madeleine Miller.
