Queen Anne Farmers Market Dinner and Hands On Class
The Queen Anne Farmers market is proud to present our first hands-on cooking workshop and fundraising dinner! Hosted by the Pantry at Delancey, the dinner will feature fresh produce and products from the Queen Anne Farmers Market, the only independent farmers market in Seattle. Olaiya Land, Pantry co-founder and chef will instruct the class. The Pantry at Delancey is a community kitchen, the Queen Anne Farmers Market is a community organization, its a perfect match!
The menu for the evening will include spicy roasted cherry peppers with aged provolone and oregano, summer melon salad with mint and black pepper, heirloom tomato tart with homemade herbed crème fraiche, squash gratin with salsa verde, and a delicious dessert of cardamom plum crisp.
Enjoy a delicious farm fresh meal in a warm, friendly environment while you support the Queen Anne Farmers Market. Dinners are served family style and accompanied by wine pairings.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Queen Anne Farmers Market, a community run market located at Queen Anne Avenue North and West Crockett Street. Our 2012 season runs from June 2, 2012 to October 11, 2012 from 3:00pm - 7:30pm. QAFMA is part of QANRG, a 501(c) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
