Ruby Red Burlesque is a Las Vegas-inspired pantomime informed by the foundations of traditional burlesque and musical theatre. Ruby Red Burlesque is produced by Concrete Vertigo Productions, an incorporated not-for-profit in Toronto, Canada.
With a book written by Cameron Chase Fatkin, and original music composed by Cameron Walker Fox-Revett, Concrete Vertigo Productions Ruby Red Burlesque is an electrifying stage adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Combining high-octane choreography and stunning direction by established dancer/choreographer Angela Mahoney (Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, Nick Jonas, Sting, etc...), Ruby Red Burlesque presents a first rate adaptation of a universally acclaimed tale in an effort to discuss topics of sexuality, gender identity, ethnic diversity and body image positivity.
