Attend this workshop to improve your chances for success when buying or selling a business, making investment decisions or researching employment opportunities. A panel of experts will discuss what businesses are worth and the most common mistakes made by buyers and sellers, covering areas such as law, patents, technology, finance and accounting.
The workshop will address all facets of due diligence and business valuation, and introduce you to experts who can serve as trusted resources.
Panel of experts: UPSIZE and CLUB E will assemble a panel of experts - - people who make their living serving and advising growing companies - - to present helpful information and answer questions from the audience. The panel will also include business owners with relevant, real-life experience.
Who should attend?: The workshop will be geared towards entrepreneurs, CEOs, presidents, small-business owners and executives. Questions from the audience will be encouraged.
Cost: $29.00, which includes the program, lunch and parking during the event (see below).
Date/location/parking: The workshop will be held Wednesday, August 31st at the Minneapolis Club. The address is 729 Second Ave. So. - in downtown Minneapolis at the corner of 8th Street (one way headed east) and 2nd Ave. Enter the parking ramp from the 8th Street side, on the south side of the building.
