The Rare Barrel Brunch
We were thrilled when Berkeley sour beer brewers The Rare Barrel asked to be included in our monthly brunch-capades. Schedules were jostled and we settled on Sunday the 12th of June. This event will sell out, so fans of sour beer should not delay. The list of beers is as follows:
Soliloquy - golden sour beer aged in oak barrels w/rose hips and orange peel
Afterlight - dark sour beer aged in French Bordeaux wine barrels
In Other Words - golden sour beer aged in oak barrels w/blueberries and boysenberries
Keen Observation (Echo Series) - golden sour beer aged in unrinsed Map of the Sun barrels,
Ensorcelled - dark sour aged in oak barrels with raspberries
Melisma - golden sour aged in oak barrels with grapefruit and blackberries
Another World - a blend of red sour beers aged in oak barrels
