You are invited to The Launch Party! Student organized, this is Boalt's end of summer event hosted by Advocates for Youth Justice (AYJ). Event includes DJ/dancing, a full open bar, a photo op booth, and a light catered dinner. Dress: Saturday night casual/club.

Door tickets are **only available until 9pm **(University policy requires this) - advance tickets are advised.
Event is open to UC Berkeley graduate professional school students.
AYJ is Berkeley Law's only student organization dedicated to youth advocacy. The Launch Party supports AYJ's student-run clinics: Education Advocates, Expulsion Clinic, and Berkeley High Student Court. Our mission is to educate, empower, and advocate for Bay Area youth and to create a powerful network of Berkeley Law students committed to issues affecting youth.
Open to all Berkeley Law students (including first-year students), AYJ's student-run clinics are: (1) an expulsion representation clinic providing advocacy for Bay Area youth facing school expulsion or formal disciplinary proceedings, (2) an education advocacy program where law students are certified as surrogates for foster youth, and (3) a restorative justice court at Berkeley High School. At one of the top law schools in the country, student-lead projects like AYJ provide first-year students with the opportunity to interact with clients from their very first semester, gaining the benefit of practical experience to inform their academic coursework.
UC Berk Event Policies:
1. All students bring valid picture ID, current grad students ALSO bring UC Berkeley ID.
2. Each student may bring up to three guests. One may be a non-college student and all must accompany the UCB student.
3. Non-UCB students under 21 years of age will not be admitted.
4. There will be no in-and-out privileges.
5. The dance is not open to the public.
6. Door tickets only available until 9pm at the event, so buy advance tickets (they're cheaper anyway).
