Gadugi - "Everyone Paddles"
Gadugi- "Everyone Paddles" is a fundraiser to support Eagle Project and its first production, Wood Bones by William S. Yellow Robe, Jr. The evening will feature a silent auction and raffle to some of the best theaters and restaurants in New York City, an open bar, and a scrumptious Native American buffet cooked by Native playwright and Steering Committee member, Vicki Lynn Mooney. The evening will also feature the talents of comedian, George Stonefish, and award-winning Native musician, Thirza Defoe.
The Eagle Project explores the American identity through performing arts and our Native American heritage. Gadugi is the Cherokee word for "Everyone Paddles". Together, we aim to bring indigenous peoples' voices to the forefront.
