Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, Montreal's Bokreta is one of North America's premiere Hungarian folk dance ensembles. The group's members have danced with old mountain folk in Gyimes, taken part in a Transylvanian village celebration and been a featured attraction at a folk festival in the heart of Hungary. Most recently they've garnered top honours at North America's Hungarian folk dance competition. Bokreta's Moyse Hall program will feature the beautiful dances and music of the most colourful ethnographic regions in the Carpathian Basin, performed in fabulous authentic costumes.
