Moving History: Portland Contemporary Dance Past and Present
What is the history of Modern dance in Portland? How do todays dancers stand on the shoulders of decades of Portland dancers and choreographers who established this community? See a work in progress showing of the first comprehensive film to address dance history in Portland. Directed and edited by Eric Nordstrom. Also, as part of the evening, a collection of other dance films by Portland filmmakers will be showen.
The films will be screened at Performance Wroks NW, June 25, 8PM. Tickets at $3 advanced, $5 at the door.
