"I Love You Because"
Inspired by Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," a young, uptight greeting card writer named Austin has his life changed when he meets Marcy, a flighty photographer. Marcy's eccentric actuary friend Diana and Austin's randy brother Jeff, along with the worldy-wise "New York Man" and "New York Woman" help them learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. "I Love You Because" features lyrics by Ryan Cunningham, set to music by Joshua Salzman. A co-production with the New Spreckels Theatre Company.
