Join LALT in May for this touching, funny and heart-warming play featuring local actors: Dianne Wilburn, Holly Robinson, Carolyn Connor, Jacinta Lestone, Trisha Werner and Andi Bishofberger.
Steel Magnolias, set in Truvy's Louisiana hair salon, revolves around the emotions, eccentricities and problems of six women who either come to get their hair done, catch up on gossip or dispense shampoo and advice. Filled with hilarious repartee and not a few acerbic verbal collisions, the play moves towards tragedy in the second act where the characters must draw on their underlying strength and love.
