Julian Fellowes is creator and sole writer of Downton Abbey, one of televisions most beloved series for all of its six seasons. It is the most nominated non-US show in the history of the Emmys.  The highest rated drama in PBS history, Downton Abbey is produced by Carnival Films, an NBCUniversal International Studios Company. MASTERPIECE co-produced the series. Fellowes executive produces with Gareth Neame, Liz Trubridge and Nigel Marchant.  Downton Abbey has been nominated for 59 Emmys, winning 12 awards.  Fellowes has been nominated eight times, winning twice.

Gosford Park, Fellowess first produced film rained accolades, earning him an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.  Other film writing credits include Piccadilly Jim, Vanity Fair, The Young Victoria, in addition to Separate Lives and From Time to Time, both of which he also directed.

Fellowess most recent television undertaking is Doctor Thorne, an adaptation of the Anthony Trollope novel which aired this spring on ITV in the UK.  The Weinstein Company acquired the U.S. and Canadian television rights to the series which will air it in four parts.

Fellowes has also written the books for the hit musical stage productions of Mary Poppins, and most recently School of RockThe Musical, written and produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Fellowes has authored two international bestselling novels, Snobs and Past Imperfect. On April 14, 2016, he launched Belgravia. A serialized historical novel set in 1840s Belgravia, Londons most elegant neighborhood, it explores the social fabric of Londons aristocracy as it mingles with the rising nouveau riche of the opulent industrial age. Belgravias chapters will arrive weekly via an app on our tablets, smartphones and desktops as audio or print versions, interchangeable at any time, with video supplements, music, character portraits, maps, and fashion templates to enhance the reading and/or listening experience.  It is a most encompassing and forward-looking way to appreciate a literary novel about the 19th century.  Download the app through www.JulianFellowesBelgravia.com  .

In conversation with Patt Morrison, a longtime Los Angeles Times writer and columnist whose coverage has ranged from presidential campaigns and the space shuttle to Britains royal family. She has a share of two Pulitzer Prizes, and owns Emmys and a dozen Golden Mike awards for her work hosting both a public television and a public radio program.  To add meat to her already significant accomplishments, Pinks, L.A.s most famous hot dog stand, has named its vegetarian hot dog The Patt Morrison Dog in her honor.
