Miss Greek Pageant 2016
The Miss Greek Pageant is one of the largest student held philanthropic events at the University of Washington. This year will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Miss Greek Pageant. The pageant is held by the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at the University of Washington and will benefit the charity Cancer for College. Over the last 20 years Cancer for College has provided over $2,000,000 in college scholarships to over a 1,000 cancer survivors. By partnering with CFC, the Delta Tau Delta house hopes to raise $100,000 solely towards CFC scholarship recipients from or attending school in the Pacific Northwest! Delta Tau Delta hopes to make this year's event the most successful to date and recognize all the women involved as outstanding contributors to the community in which they live. The Miss Greek Pageant consists of thirteen contestants from local sororities, all competing to raise money towards Cancer for College. At the end of the 6-month fundraising competition contestants will then participate in a pageant with over 1,000 guests in attendance. The woman will be scored on their fundraising efforts, philanthropic address, talent and fashion walk. 100% of proceeds made will directly benefit local cancer survivors right here in the Pacific Northwest. From everyone here at Cancer for College, Delta Tau Delta and the represented sororities; THANK YOU for your support!
