Epic Skill Swap is a participatory weekend festival where you can learn new skills, share the skills you have, and spend a couple days with an amazing group of people. Let's use our knowledge and the knowledge of others to build the kind of world we want to see.
This $25 registration fee is a deposit to hold your spot. Epic Skill Swap operates on a sliding scale contribution model. The average cost per person to run the event is in the $60 range. Our sliding scale ranges from $35 to $105, out of a recognition that some people have more flexible finances than others, and we want Epic Skill Swap to be open to all who want to come. When you check in at the event, we ask that if you can pay above the per-person cost, you do so to help cover the costs of the whole community. If your finances are limited at the moment, we ask that you please pay what you are able. If you have any questions, please ask! Registration for kids: You do not need to register your baby and toddler, but we do ask that you register older kids who you expect will eat with the group. Our suggested sliding scale for kids is $25-50, but we encourage you to pay what feels appropriate based on your child and your situation.
Cancellation policy:
- Please let us know ASAP if you decide not to come.
- If you let us know by 2 weeks prior to the event (May 27), we will refund your registration fee.
- After May 27, we cannot guarantee a refund of your registration fee, but please do still let us know. If you have to cancel at the last minute, knowing that may allow us to make space for someone who missed the registration deadline.
