Matinee idol Garry Essendine thinks the world of himself. And so do all his girlfriends and boyfriends. At the center of his own universe he sits: suave, hedonistic and too old, says his wife, to be having numerous affairs. Garry is busily making preparations for an extended overseas tour with devoted secretary, Monica. His plans are complicated first by Daphne, a beautiful stage-struck ingenue, as well as the fatuously ardent aspiring playwright, Roland Maule, both of whom insist on his attentions. When his wife, his agents, and his numerous admirers arrive, Garry is hard pressed to escape.
This is the second of Theatre Rhino's celebration Coward, after the critically acclaimed, Theatre Bay Area "recommended production," A Song at Twilight.
