In 1996 Amy Goodman co-founded Democracy Now! to focus on the issues that are under-reported or ignored by mainstream news coverage. Shortly after September 11, 2001, they were broadcasting on television every weekday. After the event, The new book will be on sale on the patio and Amy will sign as many as she can before she has to leave.
We have a concert with Midnight North starting at around 5pm at the Club (separate ticket for the show $10); food will be available from the Wander Food Truck; veggie and vegan options, beer from Sierra Nevada, wine and non-alcoholic beverages available.
