The Flux Salon is an arts gathering that features readings of new plays and other performances in intimate spaces. You never know where the next Salon will take place - in the past they have been held in basements, living rooms, houseboats, wine shops, and restaurants around the city. The plays that premiere at the Salon have never or rarely been seen, and are written by emerging playwrights from around the country with an emphasis on under-represented voices. This is a chance to see the hits of tomorrow performed by some of the most exciting acting talent in Seattle up close and personal - previous performers include John Patrick Lowrie, Brandon J Simmons, Tanesha Ross and more. Dance, music, performance or visual art, and appearances by the playwright may also be in store. Salon members are a diverse mix of artists, taste-makers, coders, readers, dreamers, thinkers, and you. The Salon is a project of Forward Flux Productions.
