Touche: Marlowe takes on Shakespeare
The 2016 production of Touche:Marlowe take on Shakespeare The Operetta will be performed in the classical musical style with vocal libretto and orchestral arrangements prepared by the playwright and musical composer. This operetta will combine music and dance within the context of Shakespeares Elizabethan era theatrical world. The operetta will also include an expanded cast of characters, director, a musical composer, musical director and arranger along with a small musical ensemble of performers.
Touche: Marlowe takes on Shakespeare The Operetta represents the depth of local performing arts talent within Minnesota. The principle theme of Shakespeares conflict with his arch rival Christopher Marlowe and their intense literary duel The story on folds when the two retired playwrights meet in a retirement community.
