Hustle and Flow: Tying for a connection with efficiency and rhythm w/ Mike West
This is a brand new class from Mike West that is perfect for students of all skill levels. Mike will coach the class in tying in a way that is quick yet connected and mindful. Tops will work on body placement, hand placement, movement and rhythm. Bottoms will learn about posture, feedback, and other ways they contribute to a great scene. This class is more technique than technicalities, so even if you can't tie your own shoes, come down and learn how to "paint with rope."
If you've taken one of Mike's classes before, this will hone your skills and improve your understanding of the "why" behind the "how." If you've never taken a class, this is a great introduction to Mike's views on using bondage to intensify the connection with one's partner.
Anyone wishing to be tied should wear forgiving and form fitting clothes, or be prepared to disrobe. Tights are better than sweatpants, tight tank-tops are better than loose t-shirts. NO JEANS. Bring your own hemp or jute rope, or borrow ours. No synthetic rope please. This class is geared for couples, but singles are welcome as long as they are willing to tie and be tied.
Mike West says, "I've been tying up girls and making them cry since I was 5 years old. Sometime in my late 20s, I decided to get organized about it. I've been giving private rope bondage lessons since 2002, and teaching larger groups since 2006. For the last four years, most of my creative energies have been directed towards my "Rope:Burn" shows, my attempt to create a Japanese-style nightclub bondage performance experience here in the USA.
Mike West hates writing about himself in the third person, so he continues, "When I discovered Japanese rope bondage, it spoke to me much louder than other forms, and when I finally got my hands on some good rope, I was hooked."
"I like my bondage like I like my women tough, fast, and a little bit crazy." Mike lives in an underground bunker in San Francisco with his two cats.
