Lighting and Grip Workshop with Ed Baxter
This practical seminar will focus on the challenges of lighting a dramatic scene on location. Discussion to include insights on coordinating shot composition and blocking with lighting, creating looks and controlling tone, a basic methodology for lighting in broad strokes, plus a hands-on equipment discussion/overview with an emphasis on LED technology.
Ed Baxter is an Emmy award winning producer/ cinematographer, and native Washingtonian. In 2007, he joined the effort to launch RLTV, cable network for generation 50+, where he soon became the Director of Production and Development. After leaving RLTV, he went freelance as an independent writer, producer shooter, editor though not always on the same projects.
