Island Wine Tasting Class at Spiaggia
Spiaggia is pleased to present a series of tasting events led by Sommelier Rachel Lowe. Indigenous grapes are often found as being naturally pervasive on various islands within the Mediterranean. Sample and discuss red and white wines from regions such as Corsica, Sardinia, Sicilia and Ischia. Compare the varying terroirs between the different lands and discuss the parallels and idiosyncrasies between the native grapes, wine making styles and wineries in general. Space is limited for these intimate events, which will include light appetizers from Chef de Cuisine Joe Flamm.
