The first Reproductive Freedom Festival will present the works of 25 writers from across the country on the past , present and timeless nature of reproductive freedom, health, rights and justice.
Writers address bodily integrity, abortion, contraception, pregnancy, healthcare, gender-based violence, and the silly and serious politics about our rights!
From 6 pm to 9 pm (EST), audiences will watch readings of short plays, poetry and spoken word. Six directors with teams of actors present half-hour mini shows, each unique and different on: HEROINES, NEXT GENERATIONS, CONFLICTS, BODY POLITICS, DISCOVERIES and WHAT WE KNOW. Pre-show at 5:20 on Ireland!
All of the performances will be broadcast to computers and devices by high-quality LIVE ARTS STREAMING by VirtualArts TV.
New York audiences are invited to join us at The TACT STUDIO to watch up-close and in person.
With our rights under attack, be prepared to honor and celebrate reproductive freedom in this one-time only event!
