B'nai Yehuda Beth Sholom and Continuum Theater Present: "Rochaleh's Wedding" by Savyon Leibrecht
Professional actors perform a staged reading of Savyon Leibrecht's play, "Rochaleh's Wedding". This performance is a feature of the Chicago Jewish Play Reading Festival 2016 produced by Continuum Theater.
In her late 30s, the beautiful Rochaleh is finally getting married! Her father, a widowed Holocaust survivor, is relieved and pleased--until he meets the prospective groom! Revelations threaten the family and Rochaleh's future happiness.
This presentation is generously hosted by B'nai Yehuda Beth Sholom and sponsored by a generous mini-grant through the Jewish United Fund.
