SOLANCO HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL - THE PAJAMA GAME
The Pajama Game, is a musical comedy based on Richard Bissell's book 7 1/2 Cents. The story begins in the Sleep Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is 1954 and the workers are protesting for a seven-and-a-half cent raise. In the midst of all the hullabaloo caused by the factory workers, new superintendent Sid Sorokin and the leader of the Grievance Committee, Babe Williams, fall in love. This dance-heavy show includes music by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, who create a catchy mixture of jazz, tango, and show tunes.
