Heart to Heart Gala

Our Heart to Heart Gala, is taking place on the 28th of February. With this event, we aim to raise awareness about cardiovascular and ischemic diseases and to foster research interest in cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, all of the proceeds from this event will be used to provide financial and volunteer support for heart and stroke related initiatives, and to promote health and wellness within the university community.

Representatives from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon will be present at the event to talk about their current initiatives and the impact that their organization made in the Heart and Stroke community. They will also be able to answer any questions that you may have about their organization and so this will be a great time to expand your network. Heart disease survivors will also be in attendance and will be giving us a glimpse of their life after overcoming their obstacles.

We will be featuring a buffet style dinner catered by truffles fine foods and performances by UBC Improv and UBC A cappella. To end the night off and to ensure that your heart is beating 120 beats per minute, we will be having a dance with music supplied by UBC EDM. Also there will be a photo booth present just so you can capture all of the amazing moments that you'll be having at Heart to Heart.
