A four-day international symposium that will focus on different concepts of institution and forms of institutional practice.

Speakers to include: Dave Beech, Luc Boltanski, Mélanie Bouteloup, Jason E. Bowman, Binna Choi, Céline Condorelli, Pip Day, Clémentine Deliss, Keller Easterling, Tom Eccles, Bassam El Baroni, Charles Esche, Arnaud Esquerre, Patricia Falguières, Patrick D. Flores, Alison Green, Marina Grini, Alhena Katsof, Annette Krauss, Sven Lütticken, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Paul ONeill, Richard Noble, Nataa Petrein-Bachelez, Andrea Phillips, Zahia Rahmani, Helena Reckitt, Simon Sheikh, Lucy Steeds, Jeannine Tang, Mick Wilson, and others, with remote choreography by Sarah Pierce.

This symposium is organized by LUMA Foundation with Paul O'Neill and Tom Eccles (CCS Bard), in partnership with:
Guus van Engelshoven (de Appel arts centre, Amsterdam); Mick Wilson (Valand Art Academy, University of Gothenburg); Charles Esche, Alison Green, and Lucy Steeds (MRes Art: Exhibition  Studies/ Afterall Books: Exhibition Histories and the MA Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London); Simon Sheikh (Department of Art, Goldsmiths, University of London); and Maria Mkrtycheva (the V-A-C Foundation, Moscow).


Un symposium international de quatre jours qui analysera les différents concepts d'institutions et plusieurs formes de pratiques institutionnelles.
