The author of Elsewhere (a memoir), Nobody's Fool, Straight Man, and Pulitzer Prize-winning Empire Falls, Richard Russo is a master of rich characters and pitch perfect descriptions of small-town America. His humorous lectures cover his approach to shaping narratives and how "home" has defined his work.
This ticket provides access to an hour-long private reception with the author just prior to the main (public) event. At this private reception, Mr. Russo will be available for casual conversation over hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar.
A book signing follows the main event. At that time copies of Empire Falls will be available for purchase. Due to time constraints, Mr. Russo will NOT be signing books during the private reception.
