THIS BIRD'S FLOWN
The Yellow Sign Theatre is unapologetically proud to present the world premiere of Alex Hacker's This Bird's Flown: A Travesty of Antiquity, being a transmogrified, cross-mutilated, brutally beaten-up and thuggishly worked over ancient epic tale of love and war, the Trojan War, mercilessly tortured and translated to the stage and forcibly rendered into that most vulgar and foul language, English, for the comfort and convenience of our modern audience. Warning: No attempt has been made to maintain anything resembling historical or mythological accuracy. Source material has been inconsistently modernized and irreverently altered at will. Do not consume in conjunction with excessive rationality or an inability to see things as other than they are. Side effects may include disgust, disorientation, uncomfortable moments of self-awareness, or a longing for a simpler, truer, more innocent world that doesn't exist and never has. Consult your physician immediately if you experience hysterical nostalgia or a painful and prolonged idealism lasting more than four days.
