Laramie Project
When Matthew Shepard was beaten and left to die outside of Laramie Wyoming, the horror of the event woke the world to the abuse and bullying that existed in small, friendly towns, like Laramie.
The writers of this play, Moises Kaufman & the Members of the Tectonic Theater Company, went to Laramie to interview inhabitants of this town to try and understand the tragic events. They turned the interviews of the townsfolk into the Laramie Project.
A cast of 9 actors will portray 65 different characters.
2 actors will portray the Narrators.
This play is an exploration of who we are.
