Mothertongue
Ghosts in the bathroom, drugs in the brassiere, and uncontrolled scratching.
Roger Cross returns home from his first year away at college to find his mother, younger brother, and uncle still recovering from the death of Roger's father eighteen months prior. Grief is exsanguinated and family dynamics are distorted in this psycho-sexually perverse, dark comedy. The fourth production by The Magnetic Theatre of a play by Julian Vorus, Mothertongue stars Allen T. Law, Delina Hensley, Alphie Hyorth, Tristan Cameron, and Devyn Ray, and is directed by Steven Samuels.
This performance is premiering at the Asheville Fringe! It will continue, January 28-30, then February 4-6 at the Magnetic 375. Visit the www.themagnetictheatre.org for additional info and tickets for the extended days.
