DANCE+ performance series
**NOTE CHANGE OF PROGRAM: Tsunami by Luciana Proaño, Art Resnick, Dylan Wilbur and Sumi Wu will not be performed July 26-28.
Conduit Dance presents DANCE+ - eight new works by local dance makers and a range of collaborating artists. Chosen through an application process by a panel of national and regional arts professionals, the selected works spotlight collaboration within Portland's dance and arts communities. This curated, dance-packed festival offers two programs Thursday through Saturday, July 19-22 and July 26-28. All six performances take place at Conduit's intimate studio theater on the 4th floor of the historic Pythian Building in downtown Portland. Each of the DANCE+ groups receives an honorarium of $600-$800 for works ranging from 15-30 minutes.
Showtime: 8:30 pm (approx 1.5 hours long)
Tickets: $20/general, $15/students/seniors/limited income.

The DANCE+ series is dedicated to presenting innovative, exploratory, collaborative, and hybrid works by local/regional dance artists. This one-of-a-kind curated and professional performance series promotes and nurtures the talent of our community and region. The DANCE+ series wishes to nurture deeper collaborations and encourage cross-fertilization between dance and the other arts.
Selected DANCE+ artists will teach a workshop on their collaborative process as part of the 2012 Conduit Summer Dance Intensive held concurrently July 19-22 & 29-30. For more information on the Summer Dance Intensive see www.conduit-pdx.org.
