"Terms of Use"

Join us for an evening with Scott Allan Morrison as he discusses his new thriller, Terms of Use. Terms of Use exposes the dark side of social media, where big Internet companies use our data to manipulate our thoughts and actions. This page-turner speaks to the growing anxiety many Americans feel about data privacy and the rise of social engineering.

Scott Allan Morrison was a journalist for almost twenty years, covering politics, business, and technology in Mexico, Canada, and the US. Morrison arrived in Silicon Valley as a reporter for the Financial Times during the darkest days of the dot-com crash. He later wrote about the Web 2.0 boom for Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal. Over the course of a decade, Morrison covered most of the world's top tech companies and chronicled many of Silicon Valley's greatest stories, including the rise of Internet insecurity and the explosion of social media. Visit his website at www.scottallanmorrison.com.

Lisen Stromberg is CEO and Founder of AcceleratingWomen, a strategic consultancy empowering women and the workplace. She is also an award-winning independent journalist whose work can be found in The New York Times, Fortune, Newsweek and other high profile media outlets.
