Advance Dumplings Bootcamp

Dive deep into the world of Asian dumplings by exploring a delicious range of fanciful dumplings. Learn how to make juicy Shanghai soup dumplings, beehive-like taro puffs, and expansive sesame balls. Acclaimed cookbook author Andrea Nguyen will help you demystify those morsels and more. You'll prepare different doughs, wrappers, fillings, and dipping sauces, then learn to shape handsome dumplings, and finally cook them to perfection.

Andrea will help you master Asian dumplings with technical tips and details on sourcing ingredients from regular and Asian supermarkets. She'll also share culinary history for her book, Asian Dumplings, which in 2012 was named by Cooking Light as one of the best Asian cookbooks in the past 25 years. Bring your copy or buy one at the class for Andrea to sign for you.

This is a 4-hour, hands-on, advanced dumpling class. Attendance in Asian Dumplings Bootcamp I or any of Andrea's other dumpling classes is not required. Be prepared to develop skills to shape delicate dumplings and deep-fry. There'll be lots of cooking, eating and learning!

- Shanghai Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao, "XLB")
- Nepalese Spiced Lamb Momos
- Chinese Chive and Shrimp Dumplings
- Taro Puffs
- Sesame Balls

Terms: After you register for this class, I will email you an Agreement and Release From Liability to review and agree to. The Release is a legal necessity because I am renting a facility for the class. Thanks in advance for understanding.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund less the modest registration process fee is available up to two weeks prior to the class date. If you need to cancel less than two weeks prior to the class date, you may request a credit to be used for another class within the calendar year. No refunds or credits will be issued less than 5 days before the class date.
