Antigone
Set in a fictional 1960's Thebes that closely evokes the same decade of our own country, Antigone is a story of the budding women's rights movement, as well as the story of a man who could not see past tradition and his ingrained sense of honor in order to adapt to changing times. This Greek tragedy, adapted to almost contemporary times, brings a spark of life and rebellion to a story thousands of years old, but still very much relevant to our lives today.
If you made a social media post tagging Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Antigone on facebook or using #CBDAntigone on twitter we will take $1 off of your ticket price to be reimbursed at the door.
If you are a student and we are sold out of student priced tickets for the performance you would like to attend, please call 773.469.2645 to see if any might still be available. We are only selling a limited number of student tickets per night.
