Acting 101 for Youth Workshop
The Theater Company of Hoboken presents a new workshop for children in grades 7-9.
Acting 101 for Youth is 6-week course taught by Kelly Anne Wadler. Do you have a drama queen or king in the house? What better way to focus all that creative energy than into an acting class! The students will receive an extensive education in the basics of actor training. The focus will be on body and voice explorations, characterization as well as monologue and scene prep work. The end result of the class will be a final sharing of the monologue or scene we have been working on to an audience of friends and family.
Held in Studio C413 at the Monroe Center for the Arts, the workshop will be held on Tuesday afternoons from 4-5:30pm. Pre-payment is required for all participants.
