Bye Bye Birdie
It's 1958. Songwriter Albert Peterson finds himself in trouble when the biggest rock star in America, Conrad Birdie, receives his draft notice just before he is set to record Albert's song, which will save Albert's failing songwriting career. He and his secretary/sweetheart hatch a last-ditch publicity stunt to have Birdie record and perform the song before he's sent overseas. The plan is to have Birdie sing Albert's new song "One Last Kiss" and give one lucky girl from his fan club a real "last kiss" on the Ed Sullivan Show before he goes into the army. This is a fun show for all ages you are sure to enjoy this delightfully charming musical that's a satire on American Society in the 1950's.
